Cordry and Sweetwater lakes lie in the northeast corner of beautiful Brown County, Indiana. Sweetwater is approximately 320 acres and Cordry is about 240 acres. They are private lakes, only accessible to lot owners with a stickered boat.
The lakes are full of large and small mouth bass, blue gill, crappie, catfish, pike, perch and some walleye. Homes, trees and wildlife surround each lake. Sweetwater and Cordry lakes are ranked the first and second cleanest and clearest lakes in the state of Indiana.
The Anglers club was formed to help the conservancy preserve the lakes. We also support the entire conservancy board and district in their plans to conserve this pristine ecology.
We are a volunteer organization that spends the membership fees to improve structure, vehicle/trailer parking, ecology, fire department, docks, a kids tournament and the general wellness of the lake community.
New members are always WELCOME!!
